This marks the 6th annual celebration of HBCU and the historic legacy of Jackie Robinson, and the 2017 edition featured the popular SC Marching 101, Benedict College Marching Band. The on-field action showcased a doubleheader with the Benedict College Tigers and the Paine College Lions in an afternoon game, followed by the Claflin University Panthers meeting the Clark Atlanta University Panthers.
